The solar panels will bring electricity right into your home, and if you get back more electricity than you use you can actually sell it back to the city's power company. There are simple ways a person can make their home a green home without having to install anything. You can switch out all of the light bulbs in your home with energy efficient ones. Faucets and showerheads that have a softer stream will reduce the water you use. You can also start recycling your packaging materials to cut down on your garbage. With so many options on how to go green, it might be hard to pick just one.
